Artificial Lawn Case Study – Bracknell

<< Back

Mr Knight was having difficulty with keeping the lawn in some sort of usable state. As well having a huge amount of tree cover that took all the nutrition away from the soil underneath, he also owned a dog that left many yellow spots in the lawn or holes that had been dug.

We assessed the situation and decided the best course of action would be to take up the existing lawn, excavate some of the soil underneath to a sufficient depth, install timber edging around the perimeter, install geo-tex weed membrane, re-fill with a substantial layer of MOT Type 1 sub-base and compact it. High grade sharp sand is then laid on top and meticulously levelled and compacted. The final stage as these pictures show is the installation of a good quality artificial lawn.
