Easthampstead Road, Wokingham
This is an APL award nominated garden for 2025!
This garden was designed by Easton Architectural Design and Owen and the team brought the design to life over 2023/4.
This project started with ground clearance and excavation of the areas of the garden that incorporated the new deck, summerhouse, and patios including by the house, swimming pool and around the summerhouse.
Some shrubs and trees were cut back in order to extend the space in the garden.
A new 90m² Italian porcelain patio installed measuring in a staggered pattern with the rain water draining away from the house and away from the swimming pool at the necessary gradient.
Each individual slab will be pre-sealed underneath with SBR Bonding agent before being laid.
Two new steps were installed coming off the main terrace faced by bricks similar to the house, running the width of the doors, laid just under the threshold of the door and topped with the same slabs as the patio.
A new 40m²aesthetic raised decking area was built using Burnt Cedar Millboard deckboards. A matching fascia was placed over the edge of the deck to leave a nice clean finish.
The team created new bases for both the Summer house and shed followed by a new lawn and planting borders.
They then created a path running from the swimming pool around the back of the garage to finish off this award nominated design.
