Garden Design Case Study – Woodley

<< Back

Owen can assist in garden design and here is the latest project that was completed in October 2020 in Woodley.

The team started with ground clearance and excavation of the current lawn and patio.  The general layout of the new garden was dug out with any good top soil put to one side.

Good quality closed board panels were installed in place of the old fence along the same boundary line and following the same gradient as the garden.

A patio was then be installed measuring 35m² using Italian porcelain Syncro paving slabs.

Two steps along the house and two steps connecting the two areas of paving were built as per the design using the same bricks as the wall and topped with the same patio slabs.

A series of brick walls and raised beds were created and the walls were built upon a strong ballast concrete footing.

Brick pavors were installed defining the edge of the patio and gravelled area with the lower planting borders.

Solar lighting supplied by the customer were cemented into place within the gravel.

New gravel areas and new planting areas were added and planting will be completed at a later date.
