Landscape Case Study – Winnersh, Summer 2022

<< Back

This garden redesign was completed in July 2022.

The project started with a full ground clearance and excavation of the current garden.

A fanned wooden pergola was built using high quality treated softwood in the top right side of the garden

A raised bed was built at the back of the of the garden using good quality softwood sleepers.

The new patio area  of 43m² using GRS GEO GREY 60 X 60 porcelain slabs was laid with a curve under the pergola and an aesthetic curve linking the new Bi-fold Doors and new door into the garage.

Granite setts have been installed to define the patios with the lawn and to curve round the borders.

The new planting borders were extensively dug over with weeds, roots and debris removed. Fresh organic matter was then added and dug over and levelled in preparation for planting

Good quality screened top soil was then be brought in, raked level and compacted in preparation for the installation of 40m² of high quality turf.

Good quality closed board fencing was used at the rear of the garden.

A water feature supplied by the client was installed and the garden was finished with trellis to encourage climbers..
